Rich Powell is an artist and illustrator I met while working with the band, The Luxuriant Sedans on a couple of their albums. Both CDs are full to the brim with roots and Blues flavored Rock, and I recommend you get copies of each!
Rich did the cover art for the albums, and made each both evocative and freshly different from each other. Born Certified was the first, and Double Parked was the second. The cover art for Double Parked drew some influence from Robert Crumb, whose work I admire. That led me to ask Rich if I could hire him to create the Dark Lantern Tales logo, and I am delighted with how it came out.
